I thought 1 was an easy top pick in this class. She is a
medium framed power ewe with no obvious structural flaws.
She's extremely wide through the chest floor and brings this
width all the way back. She is really balanced in her top
and bottom lines, wide and square over the rack and loin,
with a long, level hip. She's also deep through the
twist and muscular through the stifle.

I placed 2 second and over 3. I did find structural
problems with both of these ewe lambs, however, I faulted 2
the least. First, she is not balanced and she shows too
much depth from the top of shoulder to the chest floor. She
is weak over the top and weak over the loin. She's
narrow through the pins, shallow through the twist and lacks
muscle through the lower third. With this said she is still
more correct in structure and muscle than 3.

Third Place: 3

Number 3 is structurally flawed with neck set being lower
than the top of shoulder. She is narrow over the rack and
loin and really slopes off the dock. Narrow through the
pins and shows little evidence of muscle through the
stifle. She does show good length of side. With all of
flaws of 3 she still is much more correct than 4.

Fourth Place: 4
Entry number:

Number 4 shows several flaws in her skeletal structure.
She is uneven in her top and bottom lines, short, has a
sloping hip, is narrow through the pins and shallow through
the twist with very little muscle in the lower leg. She
tapers over the rack and loin, but, she does show more than
adequate length of body.
For these reasons I placed the class 1, 2, 3, 4 with cuts of
5, 2, 3.
