Official Placing:
4, 1, 2, 3
Cuts: 3, 2, 3
For our class of 121 to 130
pound market lambs I place them 4, 1, 2, 3. Cuts are 3, 2, 3. |

In our class
where no individual exhibits the ideal I look for, number 4
tops our set as the best combination lamb with a neat chest
floor, soundness, and adequate length of body. There is
enough evidence of muscle in the rack and leg to win this
class. I do fault the loin shape but understand part
of that is the overstretched presentation.

Following in
second we have the number 1 wether. While being a smooth,
heavy muscled lamb, the presentation does not allow us to
see that muscle definition in the leg or the straight
topline needed in the show ring. This lamb is deeper in the
twist but also flatter ribbed at the start of the rack.

Third Place: 2

In third we
have the number 2 ewe lamb. She's a very pretty profiling
lamb that just lacks the width of top and depth of twist to
place any higher. I do appreciate her clean underline,
straight top and good length of body.

Fourth Place: 3

Our last place
lamb is the number 3 ewe lamb. While likely hanging a good
carcass on the rail, I find her a short bodied, rough topped
lamb that percents poorly in the hindsaddle.
