In an extremely close pair of white pelted ewes, I opt for
the added length and extension that 1 possesses.
Ideally, I would like to see her neck set a little higher on
her shoulder and tuck her a little neater in her breast
plate. Still 1 is a longer spined ewe, that is level, full
and square down her topline and extremely correct in her rib
design. As a bonus she appears to be the largest outlined,
pounds heavy ewe in the class that I predict to have the
heaviest mature weight and be able to inject that added
growth into any potential offspring.

Second Place: 3

3 very closely follows the pattern and productive look of
the class winner, unfortunately she appears to be shorter in
all aspects of her outline. Still it is her
structural correctness and balance that allows her to place
over the long wooled ewe. She is more correct through her
neck, shoulder, and entire front end, stands with more
elevation to her pasterns, and her front two point more
nearly forward. In addition she appears to be the higher
quality of the two, and even though she is easier to read in
terms of flesh due to being shorn, she appears to have more
shape and dimension down her top and fullness to her loin.

Third Place: 2
Entry number:
282

2 is at somewhat of a disadvantage not being shorn, however
she appears to be the higher quality, more structurally
correct of the concluding pair. She is an extremely
big hipped ewe that is more ideal in her composition.
Once shorn, she would prove to be cleaner fronted, more
uniform down her topline and better balanced than 4.

Fourth Place: 4

The dark fibered ewe is without a doubt the most
expressively muscled ewe in class, appears to be really
elevated and full over her loin edges, and overwhelmingly
wide through her chest floor, however that is where her
advantages end as she is the roughest patterned ewe in
class. She is the boldest at the top of her shoulder and
the most blown out at her points. She pinches right
behind her shoulder and is extremely rough at her hip-loin
juncture.
Therefore we end up with a placing of 1, 3, 2, 4 and cut it
2, 4, 2. Good Luck, hopefully we'll have more happy judgers
this week!
