2 dominates the class as he is the heaviest muscled most complete lamb. Ideally, I would like to see him smoother down his topline, however it should improve with maturity and condition. In comparison to the wooled lamb, he is more shapely and expressive, showing more turn to his forearm and shape to his rack. Most impressively, he is tremendously blown out in his hip, deep twisted and better maintains this advantage of muscling through his lower third of his leg.

In a close middle pair, the long-wooled lamb simply shows more market animal shape than 2. Sure it is harder to read this lamb with the added wool, and without evaluating several before and after shearing many of you may have trouble recognizing how truly thick this lamb is. With that out front, even in the wool, 4 is more dimensional over its rack and loin and reads with more side-view shape to its leg. As a bonus 4 is pushed up neater in the floor of its chest, and more youthful in its rib design.

3 appears to be longer sided and more nearly level out of her dock, yet she is the most mature fronted and least expressively muscled lamb in class. Still it is added size, condition and maturity that allows her to place over the dark fibered wether. In addition she is stouter boned and reads with more width and thickness in all areas in the rear photo.

1 may actually feed out to have more true muscle shape than the more mature ewe lamb, unfortunately in his current body condition, he is entirely too raw in his cover, rafters over his rack and is the flattest most non-descript in his lower leg.
