4 is the ewe that best suits me from any angle. From the profile, she exhibits the most balnced look of the class. She is good bodied, level topped, and smooth shouldered. I like her neck placement and front-end extension extremely well. From behind, she is adequate iin width from the ground up and has as much expression of leg as any in the class.

2 is the female that most closely resembles the class winner. Granted, she appears to have lambed and isn't as fleshy as 4, but still offers good length of body and is more productive looking in her rib and flank than the bottom pair. I appreciate the length and levelness of her top along with the square set of feet and legs she sets on. She needs to be changed in the way her neck comes out of her shoulder, and smoother through her breast.

3 is an attractive profiling sheep that is wide based and smooth fronted. She transitions well in her topline and is adequate in depth of body and flank. Of the top three, she is the shortest bodied and lacks the levelness of rump that the top ewes possess.

1 is another ewe that appears to have lambed and therefore, isn't as heavy conditioned as some. She is extended and elevated in her front, and long spined. From the side, she needs to be smoother in her hip-loin junction and deeper flanked. From behind, she should be wider at the ground and show more evidence of muscling.
