After much deliberation on the top pair, I chose to lead the class with 4. He is a long bodied lamb that is acceptable in the way he balances on the profile. From behind, he is excellent in his shape and width of muscle. He is good in his bonework and plants his feet and legs wide and square from behind. To be more ideal, he needs to be leveler rumped, and he has too much set to his hocks when viewed from the side.

In a close second, 3 is a lamb I appreciate in several areas. He is square made on his feet and legs, and moderate in his skeletal size. Muscle shape and dimension are good throughout, and he is shallow chested and good ribbed. To balance better, he needs to be more elevated and extended in his front 1/3, and be smoother shouldered.

The 2 ewe lamb balances well from the side. She is proportional in her depth of body and is extended in her front. Muscle shape and volume down her top and leg is adequate and she exhibits good length of body. She is a sheep that needs to be changed on her feet and legs to move up in placing, as she is down on her pasterns and gets too close at the hocks.

1 is a long bodied, nice hided ewe lamb. Her neck comes out correctly and she is smooth shouldered and chested. She appears to be sound and square on her feet and legs. She needs to be shallower chested to balance better from the profile, and needs more thickness and muscle volume to move up in class for me.
