The #3 ewe lamb suits me as the best balanced, best bodied ewe of the class. She is extremely level made from shoulder to dock and good from fore rib to flank. From behind, she stands wide and square on her feet and legs and offers good width and squareness down her top. To be more ideal, she needs to be longer necked and better hided.

#2 is a tall fronted, expressive muscled ewe. She falls next in line for the way she balances on the profile. Although not as correct as the class winner in her depth, she is shallower and neater fronted than the bottom pair. From the rear view, she needs to be smoother in her hip-loin junction.

The #4 female is another that is extremely level down her top. She is tall shouldered and long necked. She needs to balance better by being deeper bodied and flanked. From behind, she needs to be wider hopped and pinned.

The #1 ewe lamb appears to have good width of muscle and skeleton. She is extended in her front one-third, however, seems to be a bit rougher in her shoulder. In comparison to the top three, she needs to be straighter topped and shallower chested.
