This class gives me an easy place to start one that is the most complete. The 4 ewe is the widest structured most powerful sheep of this set. Her base width is the most open and squarest. From the profile she could be a notch shallower all the way through her lower body but she still maintains level lines and studies to be moderate and powerful.

This leaves me with a pair of moderate heavy structured ewes in 2nd and 3rd. I find 2 to be more of a true female in terms of production. Granted her moderation is a touch extreme, she still studies square from hock to ground and she portrays more shape to her center body.

The trade off is that 3 is perhaps more extended up front and maybe a nickel shallower chested. I just find more issues in her hip design and rear leg structure from behind. The simple fact that there is more of her from the side and from behind keeps her over 1. She's bigger middled more muscular and she's more correct in terms of breed character.

1 is without question the best designed sheep of this set. If she is more powerful and squarer ended she would easily find a home in first of these four. However her view from behind is the most detrimental to real world production characteristics. She's too narrow from top to bottom and she doesn't have the squareness of base or power to work her way up.
