4 wins the class with ease as he is the most complete lamb of the class. True, I would like to see him longer sided, however, he is balanced. This moderate framed lamb is clean at the points, has a level top line with a long level hip, round ribbed with flank fullness. He stands correct on his feet and legs with substance of bone.
From the rear he is the most blown apart lamb of the class starting at the first rib extending through loin and hip to the dock. He is by far the thickest and widest over the rack and loin of the four lambs and has the most depth of twist, is the widest through the pins, and has more muscle through the stifle lower leg of any of the four. He should be competitive in both the show ring and hanging on the rail.

I thought the middle pair, 3 and 1 was the closest placing, however, I gave 3 a one point advantage over 1 because of more fullness in rear flank, rib design, and length of hip. This long necked clean fronted lamb has an excellent profile.

The blue pelted 1 lamb places third and over 2 because he is a more complete lamb that is smoother in muscle pattern, I would like to raise his dock a tad. 1 also has a slight advantage in length of side.

2 places fourth in the class, however, I will grant 2 is deeper in the twist with superior muscle in lower third, however, he is too deep in front, rough at the hip/loin junction with a short sloping hip.
Again, I placed the class 4-3-1-2 with cuts of 5-1-2
