I am starting with the long bodied #4 ram. He is very neatly tucked up in his chest floor and brisket. His shoulder blades blend into his ribs smoothly. From the top rear view he shows the most rack shape and is most expressive in his outer stifle muscle and is dead level in his top and upper hip.

Next is the slightly shorter sided #1 ram. While a well muscled ram, he gives up some straightness of top, length of hip and overall balance to the lead off #4 ram. 3,2 with cuts of 3-4-5.

The harder to evaluate heavy boned #3 ram falls third in this class. He is just too rough in his top line and not square enough in his upper hip, nor well enough balanced to compete with the top pair of rams.

To round out the class, I have the short sided #2 ram. He is more protruding in his brisket. He is also the frailest made and the longest and most easy on his pasterns of the set, therefore, he is last.
Again, I place this class of two to four month old ram lambs 4-1-3-2 with cuts of 3-4-5.
