4 is balanced when viewed from the profile and is really
long from flank to flank. I appreciate her clean front,
long, level top, and long, level hip. What made up my mind
between 4 and 2 was the rear view. You can see the long
square rack and loin, the deep twist and superior design of
muscle shape of 4 over 2.

I appreciate the power of 2. She is really balanced when
viewed from the side. She does appear to be slightly
pinched at the hip/loin juncture and she is a little too
round in her leg muscle and a little too round at the point
of shoulder. She does have tremendous depth of twist with a
lot of muscle through the lower third.
2 is an easy placing for second in the class and over number
3.

The bottom pair, 3 and 1, are a close pair. Neither one
fits my style, however, I found 3 to be longer and more
level in her top and bottom lines than 1. I also
believe 3 shows more evidence of muscle and thickness than
1. I would like to pick up and square up the
dock of both these ewe lambs.

I
put 1 at the bottom of the class as I found more faults with
her than I did in 3. She is narrow over the rack and
loin, pinched at the pins and lacks depth of twist and
muscle through the lower third.
Therefore, I placed this class 4, 2, 3, 1 with cuts of 2, 5,
1.
