3 is the most complete, best made sheep in the class. She is extremely good in her topline, and elevated and extended in her front 1/3. She balances well from forerib to flank and stands on adequate bone. From the rear, she has good expression of rack and offers plenty of dimension of leg and rump. She needs to be wider and more square in her loin edges.

4 is the stout made, heavy muscled lamb of the class. From the rear, she is extremely thick down her top and through the leg. She too is adequate in bone size and acceptable in frame size and length of body. From the side, she needs to balance better by being shallower in her chest, deeper flanked, and more extended in the front.

2 is an upstanding, extended fronted lamb. He is good in his bonework and wide based when viewed from behind. He needs to be smoother shouldered and leveler rumped. He also lacks the overall length and depth of body that the higher placing animals possess. He does balance better and have a muscularity advantage over the 4th place individual.

1 is a tall fronted, long necked ewe lamb that is straight from shoulder to dock. However, she is a deeper fronted sheep that gets shallower bodied as you progress toward her flank. From the rear, she is the lightest muscled, flattest stifled lamb in class.
