4 is the most attractive profiling, best balanced sheep of the class. She is moderate framed, yet extended in her front 1/3. She stands square and wide and offers as much shape and expression of muscle as any. She excels the class in her levelness of topline, and length and squareness of rump.

Second Place:  2

Entry number: 1377

Exhibitor: Chuckles150

State: UT

Sheep name/number: #4027

Breed: Cross

The dark fibered female most closely resembles the class winner from a muscle standpoint. She is very thick and expressive down her top and leg. She too is square on her feet and legs and is heavy structured. She balances well from from forerib to flank, has a smooth shoulder, and is tall fronted. She needs to be wider pinned and leveler rumped to move up in class.

Third Place:  1

Entry number: 1356
Exhibitor: EmsoffLambs
State: CA
Sheep name/number: Emsoff #407
Breed: Hampshire X
Website: www.emsofflivestockcompany.com

1 is a very attractive ewe that is feminine in her appearance. She is as long sided and hindsaddled as any in the class. She is correct on her feet and legs and has some body and flank. She is not as smooth in her topline as the top pair and gives up some expression of leg and stifle when viewed from the side.

Fourth Place:  3

Entry number: 1406

Exhibitor: lilieannaewe

State: FL

Sheep name/number: Caroline

Breed: Katahdin

The hair ewe rounds out the class as she gives up some muscle and structure to the blackface ewes. However, for her kind, she is correct on her feet and legs, has a productive body shape, and offers some extension of front.
