The #4 ewe lamb easily wins the class as the most structurally correct, best balanced individual. She is neat through her forerib and chest, and progressively deepens in her body and flank. Her topline is straight and she is long and level rumped. From the rear view, she shows levelness and width of rump along with adequate muscle. To be critical, she could be a bit more expressive in her leg and stifle.

#2 is a tall shouldered, straight topped ewe. She is long and level rumped, and wide pinned. From behind, she shows great shape and expression down her rack, loin, and rump. She excels the class winner in her volume of leg and stifle, however, lacks the overall depth of body and flank found in the higher placing female.

The #3 ewe lamb appears to be a little farther along in her maturity as far as size and thickness of muscle. From behind, she appears to be big ribbed, thick topped, and expressive in her lower leg. To move up in placing, she needs to balance better on the profile. She is deeper chested and shallower flanked than the top pair, and lacks the needed straightness of topline.

The #1 female is one of the heavier structured lambs in the class. She stands squarely on her feet and legs and is good in length of body and hindsaddle. She is adequate in her muscle pattern but lacks the overall width and shape of the higher placing ewes. From the side, she needs to balance better and be more correct in her topline.
