The 4 wether is the best balanced, most complete lamb in the class. He is tall shouldered, long bodied, and level made. From the rear, he exhibits the most width and shape of top, hip, and leg. To be more ideal, he needs to leveler rumped, shallower chested, and have less set to his hock.

1 is the lamb that most closely resembles the class winner in terms of width and muscularity. He is extremely expressive through his leg and stifle, yet gives up the overall squareness of top shape found in the 4 lamb. From the side, he needs to be more correct in his topline.

In a challenging bottom pair, I prefer the taller shouldered, more extended #3 wether. He is taller fronted, better balanced, and thicker made than the ewe lamb in fourth. He needs to be neater fronted and more massive in his top shape.

I chose to round out the class with the heavy structured, good hided ewe lamb. She lacks the overall balance, width, and muscularity to place higher in this competitive class.
